France Demanded from Google to Pay 1.6 Billion Euros

The French authorities demanded that Google pays 1.6 billion euros in compensation for unpaid taxes, BBC reported.

According to France Press, Google management intends to discuss with the French authorities the terms of payment and possibly as a result will pay the part of the demanded amount. Previously, Google has agreed to pay 130 million pounds (181 million dollars) as tax payment to the British authorities.
