Armenia’s DM, ICRC Armenian Delegation Discuss Fates of Armenian Citizens Arrested in Azerbaijan
Armenia’s defense minister Davit Tonoyan received today the delegation led by head of the ICRC delegation to Armenia Claire Meytraud.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the fates of the Armenian citizens Arayik Ghazaryan and Karen Ghazaryan arrested in Azerbaijan, attached significance to the coordinated activity of the ICRC offices in Yerevan and Baku for ensuring regular visits of the arrestees and exchange of letters with the family members.
Davit Tonoyan attached significance to the partnership and joint efforts with the ICRC for finding final resolution to the issue of the Armenian arrestees in Azerbaijan and their immediate repatriation.
The interlocutors also discussed the issues on the revealing the fates of those missing as a result of the Karabakh conflict.
