Azerbaijan Continues to Violate Ceasefire Regime: Artsakh Defense Army
Artsakh’s Defense Ministry has reported more ceasefire violations by Azerbaijan in some sections of the line of contact last night.
“Overnight 5 August and as of 9am, the operational situation on the line of contact was relatively stable. Overall, the tension remains. The Azerbaijani units violated the ceasefire in some sections by using firearms,” the ministry said in a statement on Friday, adding the Artsakh military did not suffer losses.
Several servicemen who were wounded in Wednesday’s Azerbaijani attack have been discharged from medical institutions. Three wounded soldiers remain in serious condition, while another serviceman is in critical condition with some positive dynamics in recovery.
“Measures aimed at stabilizing the situation continue through the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent,” the statement said, Panorama.am reports.
