CE Committee of Ministers Urge Azerbaijan to Implement ECHR's Decision
On December 8-9 the Council of Europe's Committee of Ministers held a meeting on human rights issues and discussed the situation over the execution of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights by Member States.
According to Contact.az, in the decision made as a result of the discussions, a "deep regret" is expressed about the fact that despite the decision of the European Court, the Azerbaijani authorities have not released Ilgar Mammadov.
The decision of the CE again requires to "immediately" release Ilgar Mammadov and abandon attempts to bypass European Court decision.
