NKR: the Situation o the Frontline
On the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces, according to the operative data of the Defense Army of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, on January 30 and 31 the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with small arms of various calibres, as well as with 60-millimeter mortars (8 rounds) fired in the direction of Armenian positions about 1500 shots, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense reports.
"The frontline units of the NKR Defense Army confidently continue to exercise full control on the front lines, resorting to retaliatory actions only in case of emergency," the statement of NKR Defense Ministry says.
