NKR: the Situation on Frontline
On February 1, and on the night of February 2 at the contact line of Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces an increase in the activity of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces was registered, the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense informs.
According to the operative data of the NKR Defense Army, during this period the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with small arms of various calibers, artillery weapons, as well as automatic mounted grenade launchers ("AGS-17") shoot 900 shots in the direction of Armenian positions.
"The frontline units of NKR Defense Army to suppress the enemy's offensive resorted to preventive measures, to ensure the safety of the frontline," the statement of NKR Defense Ministry said.
