NKR: Soldier Killed on the Border
On February 4 and 5 on NKR-Azerbaijani border the tension again escalated. Azerbaijani Armed Forces with small arms of various calibres fired about 1500 shots in the direction of Armenian positions, tert.am reports referring to the press service of the NKR Ministry of Defense.
On the night of February 5 at 3:55 in the area of combat positions in one of the military units deployed in the southern direction of the border, NKR soldier Simon Dzhavrshyan born in 1996 received a fatal gunshot from the opponent.
Investigation is underway. The NKR Defense Ministry shares the pain of the lose and expresses condolences to the family, relatives and colleagues of the deceased soldier.
