NKR: Increase in the Level of Tension Recorded on the Border

On February 24 and at the night of February 25, on the line of contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani forces increase in the level of tension was recorded, the press service of Defense Ministry of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic reports.

During this period, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces with small arms of various calibres fired about 1,700 shots in the direction of Armenian positions.

It is also noted that the frontline units of the NKR Defense Army gave an adequate response to the provocative actions of the enemy, taking the necessary steps to organize a reliable defense of combat positions.
