Monitoring Mission on NKR-Azerbaijan Borders

On March 2, in accordance with the arrangement reached with the authorities of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the OSCE Mission will conduct a planned monitoring of the borders between the armed forces of Nagorno Karabakh and Azerbaijan in the Askeran direction, Information and Public Relations Department of NKR Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
From the positions of the NKR Defense Army, the monitoring will be conducted by Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and his Field Assistants Jiri Aberle (Czech Republic) and Yevgeny Sharov (Ukraine), as well as by Personal Assistant to the Personal Representative of the CiO Simon Tiller (Great Britain).
The NKR authorities have expressed their readiness to assist in conducting the monitoring and to ensure the security of the OSCE Mission members.
