Official Stepanakert Welcomes Recognition of NKR Independence by the US State of Hawaii

NKR President Bako Sahakyan noted that Stepanakert was grateful to the US State of Hawaii for recognizing the independence of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, News.am reports.
"When the US State of Georgia recognized the independence of Artsakh, we said that various developments are expected. The State of Hawaii’s recognition is a part of the triumphant campaign; we underscore this," Babayan noted.
"The peculiarity of this state is that it was once a kingdom, today it is part of the US. It’s very important that there is an important formation, which has recognized the independence of NKR, also in this part of the world," Babayan added.
