NKR Defense Army: Azerbaijani Army Has Not Destroyed Armenian Military Position

Spokesman of the Defense Ministry of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR/Artsakh) Senor Hasratyan said that the news spread by the Azerbaijani media outlets according to the which an Armenian military position has been destroyed, is disinformation. 

"In the recent days, and especially on February 25, after suffering heavy losses due to its initiated aggression, the Azerbaijani agitprop has undertaken a strategy of systematic and targeted distortion of the facts in order to mitigate its public opinion (panic) which responded rather negatively to the latest incidents.

Another prove of the above-mentioned is the "staged" disinformation of Azerbaijan which states that their forces have "destroyed" a NKR military position (some of Azerbaijani media outlets present the mentioned as a headquarter). Only one conclusion can be drawn from all this – similar propaganda of Azerbaijan is so primitive and chewed up that fails to serve any serious goal," Hasratyan noted in a post on Facebook.

The Defense Ministry of NKR also noted the following in a released statement: "The report of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry on destroying a NKR Headquarter in the direction of Martuni and preventing a sabotage infiltration attempted by the NKR forces in Martakert direction are myths and far from reality. The Defense Ministry of Artsakh Republic informs that the NKR side has never initiated aggression and is ready to deliver a crushing blow to any Azerbaijani provocation."
