Azerbaijan Tries to Show That It Does Not Want to Be Deprived of the Opportunity to Resort to Provocative Actions: Expert on Azerbaijan
With the intensification of the situation on the borders Azerbaijan tries to show that it does not want to give up and allow to be deprived of the opportunity of resorting to escalation and provocative actions. This was declared by an Azerbaijani expert, candidate of Historical Sciences Tatev Hayrapetyan.
According to her, Azerbaijan continues to think that (also taking into consideration the recent addressed statement made by the OSCE MG Co-Chairs) certain addressed support is being given to the Armenian sides. That is to say, they think that the so-called neutrality is being broken, the messages become clearer and this makes Azerbaijan nervous. This also speaks about the fact that Azerbaijan does not want to go in the direction of building peace.
Tatev Hayrapetyan believes that economic and in general, the domestic problems in Azerbaijan have their impact on the border situation.
"On June 20-26 "Formula 1" will be carried out in Azerbaijan, large amount of money is spent on it, while the society is dissatisfied with it, which is expressed in social networks," she added.
