Georgian Wine Listed in the Guinness Book as the Oldest in the World

Georgian wine is listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest in the world. This is reported on the organization's website.
This was recorded after a group of scientists conducted archaeological excavations in two ancient settlements 50 kilometers from Tbilisi, which date back to around 6000-5800 BC. e.
As reported by RIA Novosti, during the research, two vessels were found containing the remains of the liquid stored in them. Chemical analysis showed that the containers were used for fermentation, aging and storage of wine.
