Australia to Toughen Citizenship Law
The Prime Minister of Australia Tony Abbott has declared that they are going to toughen citizenship laws due to increasing threat of extremism, BBC reports.
As it has been reported a lot of Australian nationals are fighting for the Islamic State. This is the reason why the Australian authorities are thinking of suspending citizenship for dual nationals in case they are involved in terrorism. According to the PM, people born in Australia will also lose some privileges, if they are found guilty for taking up arms with terrorist groups.
