UN: In Eastern Unkrain more than 5 Mln People Need Humanitarian Aid
In Eastern Ukraine more than 5 million people need humanitarian aid. Out of them 2 million are in the territory under the control of Kiev, and 3 million are in the regions under the control of militants. This statement was made by the Director of Operations for the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, John Gang, Rosbalt reports.
According to the estimations of the UN 3.2 million people in Eastern Ukraine need emergency aid for which $316 million is needed.
