The New Neighbourhood Policy will Reflect the Experience and Views of Partners
The new European Neighbourhood Policy will reflect the experience and the viewpoints of the partners. This announcement was made by the commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Johannes Hahn.
During his speech in the European Parliament, Hahn underlined that improvement of the neighbourhood policy will not be possible till it is presented as something "that concerns only the EU, it is rather the partnership worked out by the sides", RIA Novosti reports.
According to the commissioner the EU must develop "a real partnership of equals" based on the interests of both sides.
