Poroshenko Confident the West Will Support Kiev to Restore Its Sovereignty
The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko declared that there is no doubt Germany will join the United States and other European countries that have concluded contracts with Kiev to supply defensive weapons to Ukraine. The President expressed confidence that the West will support Kiev to restore its sovereignty, RIA Novosti reports.
However, in his turn on Monday the German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier once more called Ukraine to follow the Minsk agreements, adding that Kiev can count on Germany’s support.
