The Armenian Delegation in Cyprus
The delegation of Armenia headed by the Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia Galust Sahakyan visited the Republic of Cyprus, the press service of the Armenian parliament informs.
The Parliamentary delegation laid a wreath at the memorial of the Armenian Genocide in the capital of the Republic of Cyprus Nicosia, then at the residence of the Armenian Diocese of Cyprus they met the representatives of organizations and associations of the Armenian religious group.
At the meeting, Sahakyan delivered a welcoming speech and thanked the Armenians of Cyprus for their invaluable work in preserving their nation. Speaker of the Parliament talked about the achievements of the Republic of Armenia in recent years, as well as the problems and ways to solve them. Referring to the activities for the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, Sahakyan introduced the main content of the Pan-Armenian Declaration to the 100th anniversary of Armenian Genocide.
