Iran Introduces a Plan for Solving the Yemen Crisis to the UN
Iran introduced a plan for solving the Yemen crisis to the UN. The plan is attached to a letter sent by Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran Javad Zarif to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, TASS reports.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran emphasizes that this conflict can not be resolved by military means. The only way to restore peace and stability is to allow all Yemeni parties to form a government of national unity without any outside interference," - the Minister said.
The first step for this the Minister called the establishment of "ceasefire and an immediate cessation of all military attacks by foreign forces."
