Thousands of Greeks Took the Streets to Back Tsipras

Photo from telegraph.co.uk

Thousands of people in Athens took the streets protesting against international creditors' warnings that the country's future in the EU is at risk, thus backing the Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, who has resisted the EU-IMF creditors' push for more austerity measures, AlJazeera reports.

The protesters were calling the creditors to respect their choice – the Syriza party and waving banners written "Our lives don't belong to the lenders," and "the red lines must be respected", referring to the government's red lines in the talks that have dragged for over five months.
