"Justice and Elimination of Consequences for the Armenian People" International Conference in French Parliament

On June 19, an international conference on "Justice and Elimination of Consequences for the Armenian People" is being held in the French Parliament with the initiative of the Armenian National Committee of France, Hayern Aysor reports.

Mourad Papazian, a member of the Armenian National Committee in an interview with Armenpress has declared that the main topic of discussion will be the elimination of the consequences of the Armenian Genocide. The keynote speaker will be Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia.

"We should not only be content with recognition of the Armenian Genocide, but should also politicize and formulate the issue of reparations. Francois Hollande’s close one, head of the parliament’s socialist group Bruno Lerou will also be participating in the conference with an extensive speech," Papazian said.

As Papzain informed, French and Armenian lawyers and political scientists will also be present at the event.
