Belgian Parliament Recognized the Armenian Genocide
On July 23 the Parliament of Belgium with the majority votes adopted a resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide, Asbarez reports.
According to the source, the resolution stresses the need for Turkey to recognize the Armenian Genocide and urges Turkey and Armenia to use the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide for renewing diplomatic relations and opening the border.
The Belgian Senate recognized the Armenian Genocide in 1998.
