About 260 Members of PKK Killed by Turkish Airstrikes
As Anadolu Agency reported on Saturday, the 12-hour Turkish campaign involving 28 F-16 fighter jets destroyed over 65 targets, killing about 260 of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) and injuring more than 400 in Northern Iraq, Sputnik News reported.
The outlet also added that one of those injured was Nurettin Demirtas, brother of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) chairman Selahattin Demitras.
