PKK Fired on an Army Helicopter in Turkey
In Turkey, members of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) fired on an army helicopter in the province of Sirnak in the south-east of the country. As a result of the shelling one soldier was killed and one wounded, RIA Novosti reports referring to Milliyet.
After the shelling, the squadron of military helicopters bombed the positions of the militants in the region.
