Athens Reached an Agreement with Its Creditors until 2018

The Greek government has reached an agreement with its creditors on the formation of the state budget for the next three years, BBC reports.

According to Athens, the new plan envisages a small deficit of GDP by the end of this year, which should be replaced by a slight increase in the next year.

In addition, the new agreement does not provide the right for additional austerity measures to enter into force in the current and next year.

Athens is interested in entering the agreement into force as soon as possible, because it needs to pay another portion of the debt to European Central Bank by August 20.
