Prime Minister of Georgia, the head of "Georgian Dream" party Giorgi Kvirikashvili said that despite the country's Central Election Commission has not announced the final results of the parliamentary elections, the votes of "Georgian Dream-Democratic Georgia" ruling party is much more, Sputnik reports.

"It is true that so far the commission has not released the final results, but according to the preliminary data, the" Georgian Dream" has a huge advantage. It's a huge support, which means that the majority of the voters trust us the control of the country during the next four years," Kvirikashvili said.

As a result of the elections held on October 8, three parties will be presented in Georgian Parliament - "Georgian Dream" ruling party (48.6 percent), former President Mikheil Saakashvili’s "United National Movement" opposition party (27.14%) and the Patriots' alliance" (5 percent).

The joint statement of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Bureau, the PACE and OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Parliamentary Assembly of NATO and the European Council based on preliminary data indicates that the open atmosphere of the campaign in some way was violated by accusations of illegal campaigning and violence.

"The day of the elections started in a calm way, but in the end there were some cases of violence, which is quite unacceptable for us. Despite the fact that there were some disorders, in general Georgian people proved its commitment to democratic institutions," a representative of the US National Democratic Institute said.

It is noteworthy that the President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili has also mentioned about the violations during the elections. "Unfortunately, during the vote count there were some serious violations, including harassment. All these need an adequate response so as the elections of October 2016 comply with international standards," Margvelashvili said.

It should be added that more than 1,814 million people participated in the elections - 51.63 percent of registered voters.
