Jazz Concert Held in Yerevan

Within the scope of the events organized prior to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation a big open-air jazz concert was organized for jazz lovers in the area adjacent to Cascade complex, official page of Yerevan Municipality reports.

Best Armenian and world jazz compositions performed during the event. Both newly created and eminent jazz bands and performers took part in the concert.

It should be noted that this year is also a jubilee year for Armenian jazz. 80 years ago State Jazz Band of Armenia was created by Artemy Ayvazyan and Tsolak Vardazaryan and this was a great event for all worshipers   of this music. So this concert was also dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Armenian jazz.
