EU Calls Turkish Authorities to Refrain from any Unilateral Action in Syria

Daily Express
The European Union expects the Turkish authorities to refrain from any unilateral action likely to undermine the efforts of the Counter-Daesh Coalition or to risk further instability in Syria. High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice President of the EU Commission Federica Mogherini has mentioned about this in her statement on the announced Turkish operation in North East Syria.
To remind Erdogan has stated on December 14 that the Turkish forces will enter the Syrian town of Manbij if the US does not remove YPG members.
Later on December 15 Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his US counterpart Donald Trump have held a phone call on Syria.
