The World's Most Expensive Christmas Tree
A £12 million Christmas tree, adorned with diamond-encrusted decorations and upcycled jewellery from Bulgari and Cartier, could be the worlds most expensive, dailymail reports.
The tree, at the Kempinski Hotel Bahia, in Marbella, has 500 handmade decorations created by couture designer Debbie Wingham.
Worth £11.9 million, the tree is adorned with decorations that include three-carat pink diamonds, four-carat sapphires and oval red, black and white diamonds. The decorations also include upcycled jewellery from Bulgari, Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Chanel.
The most valuable ornament is an emu egg, set in 24-carat gold and doused in diamond dust - which is worth £8.9 million alone.

One of the most lavish decorations on the tree is a glass ball ball (pictured) which has a 24 carat gold 1.1 million dollar bill in it, while also has a diamond encrusted in it worth £200,000. The chain it comes on is 24 carat gold too.
Inspired by the verdant feathers of a peacock and the modernist art-deco era, the tree also features unique martini glasses, feathers, perfume bottles and even 3D printed chocolate peacocks.
But it wouldn’t be Christmas without tradition, and guests can still expect to find classic decorations such as snowflakes, fairies, nutcrackers and beautifully decorated baubles, carefully curated with a mixture of materials, from diamond dust and 24 carat gold to emu and ostrich eggs.
Debbie Wingham, who designed the decorations for the tree, is known as the worlds most expensive designer and in 2016 created the world's most expensive black diamond dress, valued at £3.5 million.
