Wiretaps Reveal Turkey’s Involvement in Kessab Attack
According to some documents provided by Ahmet Sik, a journalist of Cumhuriyet, wiretapping transcripts proves Turkey’s involvement in the attack on Kessab. A case against Turkey saying that it has become a party to the civil war in Syria, is in court proceedings, al-monitor.com reports.
It has been revealed that Turkey has provided artillery support to the opposition forces to capture Kessab. “The opposition forces at Kassab inform people in Turkey of the coordinates of Syrian army positions around Kassab, and then Turkey shells those locations” - al-monitor.com writes.
