European Parliament Delegation to Visit Armenia on April 24

Delegation of the European Parliament Deputies will visit Armenia on April 24, 2015 and will pay tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide. In a talk with Armenpress the President of the Armenian National Committee of Europe, Gaspar Karapetyan said.

He also mentioned that on the eve of the Centennial of Genocide the European Parliament will held different events which will not only present the first crime committed against the humanity, but  will also demand for recognition and compensation on legal and political basis. Gaspar Karapetyan also noted that the Committee together with the MEPs are developing a draft bill devoted to the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide to be put for voting on April 24.
