Nalbandian Called the UN to Prevent New Crimes Against Humanity
On March 3 the Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met the UN Human Rights Council Joachim Rücker. As the Foreign Ministry Press Office informs, during the private meeting the sides referred to the discussion on Universal Periodic Review of Armenia that took place in January in the UN Human Rights Council.
Minister Nalbandian informed Rücker that Armenia as an important player in fight of the international community countering crimes against humanity, presents a resolution on "Genocide Prevention" to the approval of Human Rights Council’s 28th session. Nalbandian mentioned that it is very important that the UN member states express their support to the international joint efforts to prevent new crimes against humanity.
