Iran Actively Commemorates Centennial of Armenian Genocide
Cultural, social and political events are to be organized in Iran to commemorate 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The two Armenian MPs in the Iranian Parliament, Karen Khanlaryan and Robert Beglaryan, have already sent approximately hundred letters to the Iranian MPs, to urge them to issue statements on the occasion of the 00th anniversary of Genocide. In addition the members of Iranian-Armenian Friendship group plan to visit Tzitzernakaberd Memorial on April 24.
April 21-27 is declared as a "Commemoration week" in Tehran in the framework of which various exhibitions, movies, marches and prayer ceremonies are planned to be organized.
