BBC: NKR Airport under Threat of Azerbaijani Attack
BBC has prepared a video on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict for the purpose of which BBC reporters visited Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
In the video it is particularly noted:
"Nagorno-Karabakh has declared itself as an independent republic and has its own government, universities, even the international airport. Last year Nagorno-Karabakh Republic celebrated the 20th anniversary of its independence, however till now it has no international recognition. The conflict is not resolved yet, the vivid evidence of which is this airport which is empty as there are no flights organized here. The planes that could fly from this airport are under the threat of the Azerbaijani attack".
