Miloš Zeman Will Not Take Part in Victory Parade
During his visit to Moscow the head of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman will not be present on the Victory Parade, said the press-secretary of the president Jiří Ovčáček, Czech Radio reports.
According to the press-secretary, during his visit the president will pay tribute to the warriors who fell for independence of
"The president will use the time of parade for bilateral negotiations with the Slovak premie-minister Robert Fatso",- said Ovčáček.
The announced visit of Czech President caused hot debates in the country: the representatives of Social Democratic Party said they are not against the visit, while their opponents- Christian Democratic Party representatives came out against president's trip. In the end the government postponed the discussion of this question until the next sitting.
