Bako Sahakyan: These Elections are First of All for Our Country, Our Citizens
The President of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, Bako Sahakyan after voting in the parliamentary elections, in a talk with journalists said that the fact the elections are not being internationally recognized, does not mean that people are disappointed, Artsakhpress reports.
"During these years we have been gritty, determined and with strong will-power, and it helped us to overcome the difficulties. These parliamentary elections are unique in their nature, since they aim at contributing to the successes we have recorded. As a result of the elections we will have a professional parliament and the professional deputies with their legislative activities will more effectively contribute to the development of the country," – Bako Sahakyan said.
He also added that if the world does not recognize the elections, it does not mean that Artsakh does not attach importance to the elections, as "these elections are first of all for our country, our citizens."
