NKR Parliamentary Elections Ended
The parliamentary elections in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic ended. According to the NKR Electoral code elections end at 8 p.m. after which the counting process starts.
It should be reminded that there were 287 polling station, one being located in the NKR Permanent Representation in Yerevan.
In NKR Parliamentary elections 7 political parties are competing - Free Homeland (50 people), Democratic Party of Artsakh (35 people), Armenian Revolutionary Party (34 people), Movement-88 (14 people), National Renaissance (14 people), NK Communist Party (14 people), Peace and Development (6 people).
50 candidates are nominated by majoritarian electoral system, of which 27 are self-nominated. Three candidates are nominated by the ARF, 4 candidates by Free Homeland and the Democratic Party of Artsakh each, 5 by National Renaissance, 7 candidates by Movement 88. 34 candidates nominated by majoritarian electoral system are non-partisan.
