EU Extends Sanctions against Russia
On Monday European Union Foreign Ministers extended economic sanctions against Russia until January 31, 2016.
It should be noted that permanent envoys from the European Union agreed to extend the sanctions against Russia during a meeting on June 17 after which they sent their decision to EU Foreign Ministers for their approval, Sputnik News reports.
During an EU Council meeting in Luxembourg the EU Foreign Ministers approved the extension of the sanctions.
