Opinion Polls: How will the Citizens of Armenia Vote for Constitutional Reforms?

"APR Group" public organization a few days ago surveyed 1,300 residents in Yerevan and the regions of Armenia to know the opinion of the respondents on the economy and the Constitution. According to the researchers, the top three issues that require urgent solutions in Armenia include the low level of economic development, migration and inflation.

As for the constitutional reforms, only 80 percent of citizens are aware of this process, sociologists mention, A1plus writes. 75 percent of those surveyed knew the exact date of referendum - December 6. "According to our survey, 64.4% of the citizens will take part in the voting, 31.3 – will not, the rest have not decided yet," a sociologist of PO "APR Group" Liana Balyan noted.

In an answer to the question "If a referendum was held the next Sunday, how would you vote?" 35.8 percent of respondents said they would vote "yes", 31.8 - "no." More than 12 percent of respondents said that they will make the ballots invalid. "It is interesting that more than 71.1% of the respondents expressed confidence that the constitutional reforms will take place," the chairman of the NGO "APR Group" Ruben Sargsyan said.
