Davutoglu: $20 billion is Needed for the Refugees in the Country

Turkey has spent $10 billion only on the refugees in the camps - 200 thousand of them and it needs about $20 billion to provide the refugees with everything they need. This was stated by the Prime Minister of Turkey, Ahmet Davutoglu, speaking at a conference of donor countries on Syria in London, TASS reports.
According to Davutoglu, there are now 2.5 million refugees from Syria in Turkey. He said that there are no cities left in the country, where there are no refugees, and about 60 thousand people are approaching the border.
In late January, Turkey has demanded to increase the size of the EU financial assistance to five billion euros to help the refugees, while the EU is ready to pay only part of the promised three billion.
