Steinmeier Worried About the Situation in Europe
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier expressed concern about the situation in the European Union, 24-my.info reports.
On the occasion he noted:
"Europe is moving in a turbulent channel and have to find the strength to recover".
According to the head of the German foreign Ministry, the EU needs to create a future strategy against migrants and refugees, to address the issue of internal and external security, to develop the labour market and the economy.
"Where youth unemployment is 50 percent and even more, of course, will not have any enthusiasm about Europe," stated Steinmeier.
He added that Europe will not solve their problems with those who see the return to national isolation.
Finally, Steinmeier expressed the hope that after the elections in the Netherlands, France and Germany in 2017 there will be rule of the government, "which will not allow the coagulation process of European integration".
