Handball: Artsakh Became a Champion of Armenia Among the Girls
Artsakh hosted the Armenian Handball Championship among girls under 17. The winner was the team of Artsakh, which held the tournament without defeats and scored six points, the press service of the Armenian National Olympic Committee reports.
In the second place with 4 points is "Shengavit", the third place - "Ajapnyak" (two points). The team of Vanadzor could not score points in this championship and became the fourth.
The head of the information service of the Handball Federation of Armenia Armine Beglaryan informed that this year the number of teams was reduced by two.
According to her, the championships of Armenia of different age groups are periodically held in Artsakh and various regions of Armenia in order to popularize handball.
