This week in Europe
Below we would like to draw your attention to the upcoming events in Europe that directly concern or present a particular interest for Armenia. Special attention is paid to international organizations and the scheduled meetings and events in the framework of their activities.
EU Foreign Affairs Council will meet on 16 March. Issues of security policy, economic developments will be discussed. Also discussion on preparations for Eastern Partnership summit in Riga in May is on the agenda.
On March 16 Friends of Moldova will meet in Brussels. The next day, EU-Moldova Association Council and meeting will take place.
On March 17-18 Parliamentary Assembly of Eastern Partnership countries EURONEST will take place in Yerevan, Armenia. A day before, meetings of a number of permanent council of EURONEST will be held.
On that occasion EU commissioner Johannes Hahn will visit Armenia on March 18.
On 19-20 March EU-Armenia Parliamentary Cooperation Committee 15th meeting will be hold in Yerevan.
