New Fund for EU's Eastern Neighbours

The UK, at a summit in Brussels on Thursday, pledged €21mn in new money for a "good governance fund" to help build European-type institutions in Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine, Bosnia, and Serbia,the EUObserver reports.
A British source said EU neighbouring states are facing "Russian pressure" and need "expert" help to make "hard decisions".
