National Renaissance Party: in the New Parliament We should Reach to Decentralization

"Our expectations are not met, we were expecting higher results," – the head of the National Renaissance Party Hayk Khanumyan in a talk with "Armedia" IAA said, summarizing the results of NKR May 3 parliamentary elections.

He mentioned that the authorities used their resources not to let let the opposition parties get more votes. "We knew this and wanted by organizing the society to reach to a certain result. However, we did not manage it or managed to a small extent," – Khanumyan said.

In the 6th national Assembly the three main aims of the party, according to Khanumyan, will be:

- "In the new parliament we should reach to decentralization. A certain part of Artsakh state budget should be allocated to the communities to solve their problems;

- the second priority is extending the NKR NA control function and the public policy activities;

- the third main aim is strengthening the society, increasing the level of self-organization of the society," – the head of the party said.

Khanumyan excluded the possibility of forming a coalition at the same time saying they would like to cooperate with the opposition.
