Tusk: EU's Fundamental Values are Not Negotiable

In the capital of the European Union - in Brussels, the EU leaders held a summit to discuss the fight against illegal migration, and the reform of the Greek debt, as well as the question of the possible withdrawal of Britain from the EU.

Before the meeting, the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk said that the fundamental values of their structure are not negotiable, and therefore are not subject to bargaining from the part of the summit's participants.

However, British Prime Minister David Cameron seems to have gone on the auction, and despite Tusk's warnings, once again tried to contribute to "improvement" of the EU, after which the United Kingdom may continue their membership in the organization.

Tusk said that Cameron's recommendations will be taken into account, but with one condition that they will be safe not only for the EU but for the whole Europe. In Cameron's claims the priority, of course, was the issue of migrants and revision of "quota", which was one of the main topics of the summit.

The fact is that, apart from the UK, other European countries also oppose the EU, regularly criticizing the initiative. "The fight against illegal migration in recent years has become a priority for the EU" Tusk. "People, who illegally seek refugee will not be guaranteed the opportunity to live and work in Europe."
