As German Chancellor Angela Merkel said in an interview with Berliner Zeitung on Friday, the negotiations on Turkey's accession to the EU will require a lot of time.
"Turkey is a candidate country of EU. The accession process is conducted with an uncertain result. We are far from being able to complete the substantial negotiation stages as long as question of Cyprus, for instance, has not been resolved. All this will require a lot of time", - Merkel said.
