Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia: This Congress can Help to Make the World Better
"Armedia" IAA presents an exclusive interview with Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendia, (Apostolic Nuncio in Kazakhstan). The Interview was conducted during the "5th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions", Astana in the framework of "Armenia-Kazakhstan: Cooperation Platforms" project, with the support of Embassy of Kazakhstan in Armenia.
This 5th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions tries to put together these religious leaders and even the political leaders. There are two different approaches: as it is said one part should be given to Caesar, the other part - to God. But political leaders in their turn, and the religious leaders in their turn can say to their citizens and to their faithful to work together in this work of humankind – of peace, concord, accord, tolerance. I think this Congress can help to make the world better, principally in circumstances, when some people use religion for other purposes.
