Selahattin Demirtash: Erdogan Does not Want to Resume Kurdish "Solution Process"
Before the meeting with Danish Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen on September 25 Selahattin Demirtash told reporters in Copenhagen that the "solution process", officially started in early 2013 but stopped after the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) renewed its armed campaign in July, could be resumed before the November 1 general election if Erdogan wanted to restart it, Hurriyet reports, referring to Anadolu Agency.
"The solution process could be revived before the November 1 general election but President Erdogan closed his doors entirely… Erdogan is doing what is necessary to not start the solution process," said Demirtas.
