CIS Observation Mission: Referendum in Armenia Passed According to International Standards
IPA CIS monitoring group headed by Akramsho Felaliev, that was monitoring the referendum on Constitutional changes in Armenia, at a press conference told the reporters that the referendum passed according to international standards and it expresses the will of people.
"The atmosphere of the campaign was free, and the voting in the referendum passed peacefully. Everything passed within the limits of law," the head of the CIS Observation Mission Slabada Aleksandrovich said.
According to him, those for and against the constitutional amendments before the referendum had equal rights to use television, there have also been discussions and demonstrations.
